TRANSLATION AND LOCALISATION
Available language combinations:
English, German, Spanish > Italian
Italian > English (on a case-by-case basis)
Translation means transferring a text from a source language to a target language, which also entails an exchange between different cultures. Translation is based on different specific criteria and parameters depending on the industry: technical, medical and pharmaceutical, legal, publishing, business, advertising, tourism, financial, scientific, etc.
Localisation means adapting a translation so that it is fully accessible in a certain market or to a certain target audience. This service is in high demand for websites and marketing content, but also for the IT industry (software localisation).
Translation and localisation are crucial for companies that want to communicate effectively in the international market: according to research, potential customers are more likely to make a purchase if the information they need is available in their mother tongue. The same holds true for suppliers, employees, partners, etc.: addressing someone in their own language improves understanding and drives trust.
